ADECCO Slovakia, s.r.o. respects your privacy - To ensure high-quality performance of the range of our services, it is necessary, however, to know some personal data of job seekers. We collect, store and process only personal data of persons that we need in order to provide our services. These data are strictly protected against misuse. We act in accordance with Act no. 122/2013 Coll., on Personal Data Protection and on Amendments and Changes of Certain Laws. Knowledge of the required personal data is also essential for providing our services at the necessary level.

ADECCO Slovakia, s.r.o. is a company which has a properly notified responsible person registered with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic. When mediating employment, registration of job seekers is necessary. During registration, please read the general terms and conditions carefully.

Adecco uses your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide the required service to you in your interest at the best possible level
  • To be able to identify you
  • To be able to communicate with you as necessary
  • To be able to statistically process them

By providing your data, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for the purposes of employment and mediation of employment. Our database is strictly protected from misuse. Your personal data are confidential. ADECCO Slovakia, s.r.o. does not provide your personal data to third parties in violation of the law and for the purpose of collecting them, in violation of your interests or instructions and they are provided to a third party only within the specified purpose.

Only summary statistical information may be provided to third parties or to the public. This statistic does not contain any information that would lead to the identification of any of the candidates.  Of course, if you expressly wish so, your personal data and information from our database will be destroyed at your request. We will publish any changes in the corporate privacy policy on this website, unless the law requires otherwise.

Communication and guidance relating to the processing of personal data and consent to the processing of personal data – registration form

pursuant to Act no. 122/2013 Coll., on the Personal Data Protection, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Act")

The operator of the information system – ADECCO Slovakia, s.r.o., with its registered office at Digital Park III,Einsteinova 19, 851 01Bratislava, IČO (Company Identification Number) : 44 077 866 (hereinafter referred to as the "IS Operator" or "ADECCO") mediating employment for consideration and operation of a temporary employment agency in the Slovak Republic in accordance with Act no. 5/2004 Coll., on Employment Services, as amended, hereby declares that the disclosure of personal data is voluntary, the legal basis for obtaining personal data is the establishment of pre-contractual relations or actions at the request of the person concerned. Personal data will be provided within the scope of the consent of the person concerned following Notifications and Instructions.

Involvement of third parties:

Within the performance of the employment mediation activities, there is the assumption that, for the purposes of mediating a suitable job (finding a suitable job), the personal data of the person concerned will be provided to suitable employers, not specified in advance, who wish to enter into an employment relationship with an employee, while the person concerned as an employee can be considered taking into account the employment conditions. If a potential employer shows interest in the person concerned, the person concerned will be given further information on the employer.

At the same time, according to Section 28 (b) of the Employment Services Act, the IS Operator is required to notify the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the personal data of the person concerned in the following extent: first name, last name, date of birth, street, city or city district of the citizen's permanent residence, for whom employment is mediated for consideration.

Personal data of the person concerned will also be entered in a special system application (computer program) Adeccoweb which may be accessed by the employees of ADECCO Slovakia, s.r.o. carrying out activities for the employer that are the subject of its business, and to a certain limited extent access to this data will be also granted to third parties – employers – looking for suitable employees. In order to identify and distinguish the person concerned from another person concerned with potentially the same name, identification may be ensured using a suitable identifier, e.g. date of birth or personal identification number, to avoid confusion of the persons concerned.

Purpose and duration of personal data processing

Personal data of the person concerned will be provided to one or more suitable potential employers, who wish to enter into an employment relationship with an employee, while the person concerned could be considered as an employee.

The purpose of the personal data processing will last from the date of their provision until the day of the fulfilment of the required activity (upon the expiry of a specified time period after the date of actual mediation of employment), or until the day of destruction of personal data at the request of the person concerned or based on the decision of ADECCO respectively, upon the fulfilment of the agreed or legally defined conditions.

Rights of the person concerned

Pursuant to Section 28 of the Personal Data Protection Act, the person concerned has the right to request, based on a written request, from the operator in a generally comprehensible form

a) Confirmation whether or not his/her personal data are processed;

b) Information about the status of processing of his/her personal data in IS in the extent of Section 15 (1) (a)-(e), items 2-6;

c) Accurate information about the source from which it received his/her personal data for processing;

d) List of his/her personal data which are subject to processing;

e) Correction or destruction of his/her incorrect, incomplete or not updated personal data which are subject to processing;

f) Destruction of his/her personal data, if the purpose of their processing has been fulfilled, if official documents containing personal data have been provided and are subject to processing, he/she may request their return;

g) Destruction of his/her personal data which are subject to processing in case of violation of the law;

h) Blocking of his/her personal data due to withdrawal of consent before the expiry of the validity, if the operator processes personal data on the basis of the consent of the person concerned.

On the basis of a free written request or in person, if the matter is urgent, the person concerned has the right at any time to object

a) The processing of personal data in cases pursuant to Section 10 (3) (a), (e), (f) or (g) by stating the legitimate reasons or by submitting evidence of infringement of his/her rights and interests protected by law, which are or may be damaged by such personal data processing in the particular case; if this is not prevented by legal reasons and it shows that the objection of the person concerned is justified, the operator will, without undue delay, block and destroy the personal data, the processing of which was objected by the person concerned, as soon as circumstances permit; and

b) Not to submit to a decision of the operator, which would have legal effects or significant impact on him/her, if such a decision is issued solely on the basis of the actions of automatic processing of his/her personal data; the person concerned has the right to request the operator to review the issued decision by a method other than automatic processing, while the operator is required to comply with such a request of the person concerned so that the authorised person will have the decisive role in reviewing the decision; the operator shall inform the person concerned of the method of review and the findings within the period according to Section 29 (3). The person concerned does not have this right only if so provided by a special law, which governs the measures to ensure the legitimate interests of the person concerned or if, within the pre-contractual relations or during the existence of contractual relations, the operator issued a decision to meet the requirements of the person concerned, or if the operator took other adequate measures under a contract to ensure the legitimate interests of the person concerned.

The transfer of personal data to third countries is governed by Section 31, Act no. 122/2013 Coll., on Personal Data Protection, as amended.

The IS Operator will take the required action and inform the person concerned as possible, immediately, at the latest within 30 days of receiving the written request of the person concerned.

Destruction of personal data

The IS Operator will destroy all the personal data of the person concerned

  •  If the purpose of the personal data processing has been fulfilled, i.e. employment has been mediated and the "guarantee period" between ADECCO and the employer has expired or the trial period of the person concerned, who has been hired, has expired;
  • Upon written request of the person concerned;
  • If ADECCO finds out that the data of the person concerned are not accurate, complete and updated and it is impossible to correct them;
  • Upon the expiry of five years, during which the purpose of the personal data processing has not been fulfilled;
  • If ADECCO has no contact with the person concerned for two years and does not receive any reply at request (e.g. e-mail).

Unless the person concerned requests entering his/her data in the information system even in another suitable and adequate job position, the purpose for processing lasts unless the person concerned himself/herself requested the destruction of the personal data, no later than upon the expiry of five years.

The person concerned is notified of the destruction of personal data at his/her last known e-mail address and if he/she does not have any, in writing to the last known address of residence.

Accuracy and completeness of data

The person concerned is required to provide only accurate, complete and current personal information to the IS Operator and update such personal data always after every change and notify the IS Operator of any change in his/her personal data. ADECCO may request the person concerned in writing at least once every calendar half-year to provide information whether the personal data provided are complete, correct and current. If the person concerned does not respond, the personal data provided are considered complete, correct and current. However, if ADECCO finds out that the personal data do not meet the aforementioned conditions and it cannot correct the situation, the personal data of the person concerned will be destroyed.

At the same time, based on advice regarding the voluntary disclosure of my personal data, I hereby, at my own discretion and voluntarily, provide my personal data to the operator of the information system for the purposes of the registration of my data for the purpose of establishing pre-contractual relations and agree with their processing to the following extent:

  • First name, last name, date of birth, personal identification number, contact address, telephone, e-mail connection, nationality, bank account (only for registering temporary employees);
  • Data on the knowledge and skills, educational attainment, qualifications, categories of the searched jobs;
  • Data on employment history (or placements);
  • Data on previous and expected salaries, ability to undertake employment, possible start date;
  • Other data and documents related to the purpose of processing – establishment of pre-contractual relations and performance of employment mediation activities, i.e. finding a suitable job with potential employees;
  • Other personal and sensitive data provided by me – such as passport photos, copy of a document on most recent educational attainment (or certificates).

At the same time, I agree that my data will be entered in a special system application (computer program) Adeccoweb. If Adeccoweb is accessed by foreign companies that are members of the ADECCO Group (property or personnel links within the Adecco holding) in the case of job searching outside the Slovak Republic, I agree with the familiarisation of these persons with all my personal data that I have provided to ADECCO Slovakia, s.r.o. .

At the same time, I agree that my personal data may be entered in the information system even in other, suitable and appropriate job positions in the event that a suitable employment has been mediated for me, and therefore the purpose of processing will last until I request the destruction of my personal data in writing, no later than after five years.

At the same time, I declare that all personal data provided are correct, complete and current. I undertake to update my personal data after every change and notify the IS Operator of any change in my personal data. If no change occurs, I agree with the data as provided by me, even without written confirmation at the request of ADECCO.

In the event that I attend an interview, I agree that the results of the interview, notes of the person conducting the interview etc. will be stored in the information system Adeccoweb for the purposes of presenting me to third persons to obtain suitable employment. I also grant consent to ADECCO Slovakia, s.r.o. to provide the attached CV prepared by me and other related documents, information and facts to a suitable potential employer in the aforementioned period for the above purpose.
